Eastern Zone Meet for 11-14
yr old swimmers with an IMX score of 1800 points to
enter.

tickets will be sold ONLY on-line and Meet T-Shirts will be
available ONLY on-line.
Attached are the
final psych sheets and time lines for the IMX meet. These will be
posted on the Eastern Zone web site for your families / swimmer to
view.
If you have not yet mailed me your
entry fee check, please bring it with you to the meet. I need entry
fees for your kids to swim.
The meet
will be run in one course only and there will be 4 additional lanes
available for continuous warm-up and cool-down. Time lines are
pretty good for a single session.
Make
sure your parents have all purchased their admission tickets on
line cost is $10 per person. Meet Programs will then be free of
charge.
T-Shirts
orders have been submitted to the supplier yesterday but we will
still take them thru the meet and run another order which will be
mailed to the kids after the meet is over...T-Shirts must be
purchased on-line also.
Pre-ordered shirts will be available
at the meet, we hope, on Friday.
Please
continue to encourage your parents to help time the meet. We will
need their help to get the meet off to a quick start. Sessions are
short enough that it should not be a big deal timing plus they get
free food and drink.
Kids
will most likely have to provide a timer and counter for the
500's.
There is
a big snow storm hitting the north-east on Wed - Friday. The D.C.
area is at the bottom end of the storm and we are only expected to
get 1-4 inches out of it on
Thursday.
There
are no plans to cancel the meet at this time. If the facility is
open we will run the meet and we do not expect the facility to be
closed on Friday. Adjust your travel plans if needed to avoid the
snow.
Drive

your swimmers.

age group winners will be determined
based upon their total IMX points.

Events will be swum in the normal 2-year
age brackets, although scoring
will be done for each age.
Athletes disqualified or scratched from
any event will not be eligible for Total
IMX points. All times in all events will
be official.
